With over 180 registered players across 15 teams, ranging from Under 5’s to Under 16’s the club strives to keep their membership fees as low as possible, whilst trying to maintain the necessary facilities and equipment required to run the club. However to continue this, our annual fundraising event, the Chineham Tigers Fun Day, will be on Saturday 17th June 2017.
How can you help?
We are already looking for raffle donations. Could your business/company offer any items that could be used for prizes? Examples we have received in the past are: Vouchers for goods or services, Entry Tickets, Bottles of Wine, round of Golf, Cosmetics, Electrical Goods and Confectionary. We will of course ensure that our thanks for your generosity is mentioned in our club newsletters / website and of course on the day.
All donations from parents, grandparents, friends and family are very welcome. We are looking for items for the tombola, a bottle of wine for our wine or wine not stall, or maybe simply bake a cake or donate some shop ones (nearer the time). This year we will also be running the popular second-hand boot stall, but will expand this to include any football clothing in good condition. Any unsold boots and clothing, along with old club kit will be donated to KitAid a charity that recycles your once loved football kit and distributes to underprivileged children and adults in some of the world’s poorest countries.
Keep watching the Tigers website and Facebook page for updates regarding the event. There is a change of venue, new attractions and hopefully some exciting entertainment on the day!
